"As technology advances rapidly, todays buildings and the systems in them are becoming increasingly complex. It is critical that our clients understand how to operate, use, and maintain their building, its components and its systems. Building Training and Commissioning is a basic customer service. We assign qualified people, for as long as it takes, to provide all the training and assistance they need, until our client is ready to use the building to its fullest extent, operate it, maintain it, and keep it that way. We only consider a project successful once our client is operating the building successfully."
- William A. Nicholson, CEO
Early in our Pre-Construction Strategy process, our construction professionals address exactly what our clients require, how they will use each system, and develop training and orientation in step with those needs. During construction, everything from mechanical, electrical, and low voltage systems to networks, telephones, and basic building elements such as floors, walls, roofs, and windows are installed, and our client is trained to use and maintain those elements accordingly. Congress team then conducts detailed testing and inspections on each component and system, providing absolute certainty that each one functions as intended.
To smooth the transition into ownership and daily operations, we invite your operational and maintenance staff to hands-on training sessions covering the entire facility. Thorough explanations of each building system with operating and maintenance manuals are provided during these sessions, which are also videotaped for your staffs future reference. For additional peace of mind, Congress arranges for a Project Engineer to remain on-site for as long as is required, to ensure that our client understands how to use, operate, and maintain each and every component of the building.
