Project Details:
  • The Cutter - renovation of 45,000 square feet into 35 one and two-bedroom units
  • The Locke - renovation of 50,000 square feet into 39 units, including some studios
  • Conversion of retired school buildings with restoration of stately Georgian Revival facades
  • Condo units blend modern materials and original woodwork, exposed trusses, bare brick, and dramatic atria
  • Included structural reinforcements and retrofitting such as exterior modifications to accommodate heat pumps
  • Required innovative engineering solutions that advanced the firm as a leader in creative building restoration
