PEABODY, MA - The Congress Companies and LCB Senior Living, LLC held a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 to mark the commencement of a $13M Assisted Living and Independent Living Project in South Windsor, CT. Located at 200 Deming Street, The Residence at South Windsor Farms will be a state-of-the-art, 80-apartment senior living community.
A full service construction firm, The Congress Companies of Peabody, MA will provide Construction Management services for the project, which will be operated by their repeat client LCB Senior Living, LLC, of Norwood, MA.

The 66,000 square foot, three-story facility in the Craftsman style, was designed by The Architectural Team of Chelsea, MA. The Residences at South Windsor Farms will feature a country kitchen, open and enclosed porches, common living and dining rooms, group activity and lounge areas, a beauty salon, and media rooms. Construction is scheduled for completion in Fall 2014.
The Residences will be secured 24 hours a day, and will offer residents three gourmet meals daily, provide laundry and cleaning services, and offer a full activities program. Resident apartments will feature kitchenettes and private bathrooms. Nursing staff will assist residents in need with the activities of daily living, including medication management, dressing and personal hygiene.
